The day at the Biosphere was totally dedicated to the theme of  international citizenship and cooperation. Having heard the stories of citizens from different places presenting how they were personally involved in international cooperation projects, the workshop participants attempted to define what the concept entails.

Divided into three working groups, the young people, accompanied by some staff members, sought to develop the concept of international citizenship and cooperation by defining what it was and what it entailed.

After sharing the conclusions from the different workshop groups of 21 May, a small working group drafted an initial version of the final declaration from the workshop. This declaration was presented to the participants during the morning of 22 May. They proposed modifications, discussed how to word the ideas, amended certain points and finally agreed on a final text that represented their vision of international citizenship and cooperation.
